Chapter 9: Do not peek inside the light trap
The moments when people feel happiest were not when they helped others or when they were given words of gratitude.

The door was opened by Chigusa's hand, and I finally stepped into the room.
Last night, and the night before, I had been a bystander, and as such had only been allowed to hear voices from outside the room.
I was now inside that very place.
Though that alone was enough to make me shiver in delight, I was now about to become a part of that scene.

I took a deep breath and let the sweet and sour air in the room fill my chest.
The smells of Chigusa and Eris mingled together, creating a fragrance akin to honey.
If this was what felt by merely breathing, what would happen to me if I buried my face in the bed.

Chigusa brought her fingertips, coated with my saliva, up to her face, and licked if off.
The moment I saw this, I couldn't help but shudder and let out a small cry of pleasure.
It couldn't be helped. Chigusa, on her own volition, had taken a part of me into her body.

NB:
Eris addresses Chigusa as Onee-sama (お姉さま). Something similar to what you would usually see in yuri-oriented novels, say in an all-girl school (e.g., Nanami and Yuuna in Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke o).
Nunnally addresses Chigusa as Aruji-sama (あるじさま/主さま). Something used in the context of a servant addressing their master. Though, in that case, this might be more akin to an object of worship, i.e. her Lord, as one would pray God for example. I am using this pronunciation (Aruji-sama) since the author explicitly wrote in hiragana あるじさま first, and then used the kanji writing 主さま.
And she adresses Eris as the more respectful Eris-sama (エリスさま) now, instead of the usual Eris(-san) (エリスさん) from before her transformation.
